Scanner radio out of #Dayton painting a picture of absolute destruction. This is devastating.

"We're still getting reports of collapsed houses"
"There's debris everywhere"
"Power poles severed"
"Need to do primary searches"

This is still very much an active and evolving #SAR

Entire neighborhoods haven't been searched yet.

Dog stuck under a roof.

Gas leaks everywhere.... utility company too busy to get to all at once.

Volunteers with backhoes and heavy machinery helping out.

Earlier call said other unspecified volunteers and possibly national guard on the way.

Frequent requests by responders to dispatch for directions and known routes around debris fields. Debris hindering rescue efforts (understatement)

Diamondville not checked but power lines blocking access.

Some houses unable to be searched by primary teams because of damage, not safe for fire crews in the dark. Getting strike teams to check these areas. #Dayton

Damage and leveled buildings along stop 8 road #Dayton

Trees on houses, roofs off apartment buildings near Trailview... the same general scene of destruction being reported across the city. #Dayton

"We don't have any apparatus left, do we?" Looking for/running out of fire crew rigs/resources. #Dayton

Multiple calls over the course of the night for home oxygen users reporting being out of oxygen. #Dayton

Houses leveled on heckathorne and inaccessible but everyone reported accounted for #Dayton

Medic: "Be advised we are 20 minutes away from" being able to respond to a call
Dispatch: "we don't have anybody else." #Dayton

Still so many areas not yet searched or even accessed. Dispatch just pulled up a map of the trajectory and named off at least ten neighborhoods first responders haven't gotten to yet. Help your neighbors if you can! #Dayton
