Another day another hit piece from @Quillette, this time by former guest @CathyYoung63. (Who repeatedly requested to do the show, pay her travel, and begged to be introduced to many other guests.) I’m a primo source for clicks these days.

Allow me to deconstruct this nonsense...

Young once again take the position that the IDW should be heterodox, but scolds basically the only person who isn’t a Democrat/Progressive besides Shapiro. (Even though I formerly was.) When we build bridges to our own side we are good, but when the other side we are bad. Drivel.

She also goes after @jordanbpeterson for not bridge-building even though @jordanbpeterson is always willing to talk to others, has debated many, and after a year on tour with the guy I can assure you his message his about finding allies and building bridges.

She’s also very upset by who I talk to and how I talk to them. Strangely, she ignores my hundreds of interviews, but goes after @StefanMolyneux @Lauren_Southern @PrisonPlanet and @Cernovich. None of which I regret talking to or questioning. Also they’re all 2+ years old...

And I had @CathyYoung63 herself on after @Cernovich but she somehow didn’t say anything to me. Also it was before Pizzagate, which he has since explained. Strange she only finds faults on my interviews with people she doesn’t like. Tell me, @CathyYoung63, do you have...

any problems with interviews with liberals I’ve done like you, @EricRWeinstein @BretWeinstein @clairlemon @SamHarrisOrg @CHSommers @NAChristakis @AndrewLSeidel @sapinker @JonHaidt etc., or did I do all those interviews perfectly and just messed up ones with people you don’t like?

No doubt I’ve made mistakes (and will continue to do so) but this is just authoritarian drivel from @CathyYoung63 masked as more Lefty tolerance. I’ve hit a nerve because I’m waking people up and showing them that people on the right aren’t the scary boogeyman they’ve created.

Now they want to take me out because I won’t be their sacrifice. Well sorry, I never will bow, and to loosely quote Yoda, my own council will I keep in who I interview and how I interview them.

Of course, we all know the answer here, which is that this is more intellectual hostage taking and clickbait nonsense. As the Left goes more bananas you will see more and more of this. “Liberals” will have to offer sacrifice of others as to buy time before the mob comes for them.

Also, for some reason this is oddly personal for @CathyYoung63, who I treated with the same respect as all my guests. Why not reach out to me for comment? Fine journalisiming there, @Quillette.
