There are huge number of trackers on online pharmacies, sharing some of my observations I found while preparing a demo for @pyconweb. In lot of cases the medicine you search for, is shared with companies like FB, GA, Survey Monkey, Dynamic Yield & many more. #Privacy #GDPR :
Looking at the stats from @WhoTracks_me, about 11 trackers per page load & 36 trackers seen overall on @docmorris : whotracks.me/websites/docmo…
When you search for a medicine, in this case IbuHexal, this information is shared with trackers like Exactag, DoubleClick, Webmasterplan, Google.
Website @medpex_apotheke on average loads about 2 trackers per page and 36 trackers seen overall: whotracks.me/websites/medpe…
When you search for a medicine on @medpex_apotheke in this case IbuProfen, this information is shared with trackers like Facebook, Google Analytics, Spot Effects, Dynamic Yield.
When you search for a medicine on website apotheke.de in this case Omeprazol, this information is shared with kctag.net, Google Analytics, Survey Monkey, Sovendus, Bannerflow, mb-srv.com, UserLike etc.

For doctors, nurses, and other healers these are distressing times. The epidemic of depression, suicide, anxiety and burnout that consumes our profession is at least less hidden than ever before. I don't know anyone who is spared.

#OBSERVATIONS: A few thoughts in reflecting on the Trump legal team letter that argues the President is above the law.

1. TRUMP'S LAWYERS BASICALLY CONCEDE HE OBSTRUCTED JUSTICE.

They aren't saying he didn't obstruct. They're saying because he's the President, it's not a crime.
2. TRUMP'S TEAM LEAKED THE LETTER, DESPITE TRUMP ACCUSING MUELLER'S TEAM OF THE LEAK.

Trump tweeted this week that he doesn’t have time to focus on the Russia investigation b/c he's so busy president-ing...

WHICH IS THE SAME ARGUMENT MADE IN THE LETTER.

Here's Trump accusing Mueller's team of leaking...

We know the Special Counsel doesn't leak.

It's NOT A COINCIDENCE that the claims in the letter mirror Trump's tweets this week. Once again, just like the #49Questions by Sekulow, it's from Trump's side.

Some thoughts: There seems to be an assumption in #medicine that patients receive the best care based on best evidence, where evidence usually means quantitative research (my assumption). Yet quality of care is dependent on personal characteristics of each health professional 1/
Knowledge derived from evidence is insufficient to translate into behavioural changes that support the 'best care' intention. Science-based evidence must be channeled through unquantifiable characteristics expressed by each individual health professional to provide best care 2/
These characteristics include: empathy, kindness, unconditional positive regard, non-judgemental attitude, empathic listening, intuition, warmth, encouragement, hope and so on. If we're touting science-based medicine, it must also include practice-based evidence 3/

I don't know about elections. But last week in Rajasthan - I have heard innumerable stories about small businessmen just wrapping up their companies. All impacted by #Demo and #GST. You guys can make a mockery of people's problems - but truth is people have been impacted.
My husband and I were in a car discussing GST and Modi along with Gujarat election - our driver suddenly says - Are Modi jee ko toh bas karna hai 'Mere Pyaare Bhaiyon aur behenon'. Madame humara mehendi ka business tha - band kar diya. Ab gaadi chala rahe hain.
My husband's cousin starts chatting up GST and how our company is handling filing. I gave him a lowdown on how we have hired a firm to manage.

He says - For TWENTY TWO days no business happened for us.
