.@Comey claims @GeorgePapa19 “knew about the Russian effort seven weeks before we did.” He’s either lying, misremembering, or is misinformed: the tip FBI received was extremely vague & didn’t even mention stolen emails. That’s why Mueller doesn’t claim what Comey asserts here. 
Compare what Comey says to Mueller, and note Mueller’s many qualifiers: "suggested" "indications" "could assist." And Mueller doesn't claim Pap heard about stolen Democratic emails -- just "information damaging" to HRC:
Here Comey is falsifying. He knows full well that Pap did not “[talk] to a Russian agent in London” — if Mifsud is a Russian agent, why didn’t Comey’s FBI arrest or charge him after they spoke to him in Feb 2017, & why doesn’t Mueller ever assert that Mifsud is a Russian agent?
