A lot of people seem to think that because there was only one party pushing No Deal Brexit, whereas the larger number of votes for parties which oppose No Deal was split among several parties, the Brexit Party should now set UK policy.
I'm counting on you to correct their maths.
Whether they're bots or not, this misinformation is getting out there. Just like with the European Elections, I'm counting on you to speak to people you know who aren't in remain bubbles, e.g. your relative in a town on the other side of the UK.
The maths is clear, but I'm getting the strong impression that the media and social media is failing to convey it accurately.
Even when I share this information on Facebook, I get some interesting counterarguments...

It's ridiculous that Nigel Farage can unleash the racism of @LeaveEUOfficial & UKIP, then just leave both, form a new party and we've just swallowed it like he's no longer racist.
His strategy has all the sophistication of a child thinking he's invisible by covering his own eyes!
I mean just a little bit of journalism would be nice.
I found this in about 2 seconds.
They're not even hiding the corruption!!

There is a basic human decency issue here. "Some way off"?
The longer we delay this process the more we risk no deal. So by not saying we need a public vote NOW, he's joining the Tories in risking 1000S of lives (AS PROVEN BELOW)
If Corbyn was calling for a general election he'd win, that would be one thing, but having seen what his hesitation around a public vote has already done to Labour's popularity in the European Elections, pushing for an election while still hesitating is utterly POINTLESS!

If you wanted a legitimate democratic mandate for a No Deal Brexit, we should have had a referendum like this:

If you wanted a mandate for a Canada or Norway Brexit, you could have done either of these:
Instead we handed the government a blank cheque for what our future relationship with the EU would be, by simply voting to end our current one, and now most people aren't happy with how they've filled it in and some are pretending it was always filled in.

One of the bizarre notions of #Brexit voters is that paying x billion into EU to run the common market gives EU consumers a duty to buy British products rather than an opportunity to market UK exports.
This British delusion about how trade works is illustrated by Brexit voting idiots saying stuff like “we pay 40m for a trade deficit of 150m”. They confuse foreign trade with buying things abroad. Producing and marketing stuff that foreign consumers actually want is beyond them.
The same delusion is at work when British politicians mention “the ability to strike our own trade deals”. Leavers think that somehow all that is required is a Doctor’s note from a disgraced Defense Secretary and instantly trade starts flowing to those foreign far flung countries

1. A thread on Brexit. A lot of people seem to think that this week's actions in parliament have taken no deal off the table. They have not. No deal is the default, although in a way for some people it's already happened.
2. Ships have already left the UK for Asia with no idea of the customs regime that will apply when they arrive in Singapore. In a way, No deal happened about a week ago for things on the boats and the people shipping them.
We leave by automatic operation of Article 50 at 23:00 UK time on the 29th of March. No action is required for this to occur. Why 23:00? Because it's midnight in Europe and GMT doesn't mean shit to the EU. That tells you who's the junior partner right here, like it or not.

As usual, I'm answering the question's I've gotten.
First question: why do cable networks play games with the pricing, giving you teaser rates and then continually jacking up the cost?

This question isn't really on point., but I'm answering it because the answer is related to my answer about bundling.
So as I pointed out in the column, bundling often occurs in businesses with high fixed and low marginal costs, like airlines, hotels, etc. That's because the marginal cost of added amenities doesn't jack up the price much, but improves the experience a lot

1) Thread - All Brexits are bad and what we voted for
It's often said by brexiters that "it's not all about economics"
However, the *actual* Leave campaign was almost wholly about economic arguments

With the leak of this 2-8% report those arguments are now trashed
2) We seem to have forgotten this however economics played a huge part in the Vote Leave campaign, making up over 2/3rds of the primary arguements. The clear message was we would at the least be no worse off and at best much better off. 4 of the 6 below state this clearly
3) & the fact is voters believed we would be no worse off. People prioritized immigration certainly, but against a backdrop of there being no consequences from Brexit - few are prepared to actually pay for ending FoM

2) well, 5 minutes reasoned thinking will lead to:
-Ok, obviously the agency must be in the EU
-We've chosen to leave the EU
-Someone has to pay, and if we're leaving it should be us
-It's annoying that the leasing contract was messed up but, well, someone has to pay
3) but how will the person highlighted in this thread understand it?
-He doesn't think we should pay a Brexit bill
-He doesn't know about, and wouldn't care about, the Medicines agency
-The Mail will tell him it's an EU stitch up, and he'll believe it
