We are in 2019 and if I add two modules of the same Apache library in my Android app, I have error messages everywhere 😒
If you want to compile this is the solution BUT...
You will have this error at the runtime. The class AllowAllHostnameVerifier has been deprecated in API level 22.

I’m back to Retrofit I guess

I want to improve my daily productivity. I need regular breaks outside the screen, any life hacks?
My question was more: how to force me to do regular breaks during my working day?
Thank you all for the suggestions! As always you are the best!

If I sum up we have:
- Adopt a dog/cat
- Drink a lot => pee breaks
- Standing desk
- Pomodoro method
- Gardening
- Cooking
- Get coffee outside
- Regular walks (+ push ups challenge)
- Close social networks

2/ I’m very surprise by the amount of negative feedback I received from the French infosec community. I don’t know why but I don’t receive the same feedback from the others infosec community 🤷‍♂️
3/ Dear infosec pros, I don’t care if you don’t like my account because this account is not made for you. It is here to make things change, to solve issues, force companies to fix their sh*t, to have an impact on millions of people.

My @eversendapp experience has been smooth…

I have loaded it on my rooted #Android phone with #LineageOS 16.1, uploaded by identification for KYC and was verified within minutes…

I was so shocked that it had happened so fast, I am feeling the slacker
@eversendapp Why install the app, needed to make a payment to a service provider in Kenya and was stuck without a way to do it from my current location
@eversendapp The next steps were soooo smooth

1. Added a Visa card, which was charged for verification process

2. Loaded funds, converted to KES in 2 clicks…. The exchange rate was very close to what Google and XE gave me (as compared to my bank)

Android Q is indeed another huge shift regarding Android's direction. One example here is scoped storage. What we Android users always enjoys: direct file management, is no longer taken for granted. All apps will be restricted like iOS apps with their own isolated storage space.
The platform does include Storage Access Framework to act as a "proxy" for apps manage files outside of the sandbox. But basically apps are no longer allowed to directly control the files: all operations are delegated to the service the system provides.
All of the discussion above are regarding normal users though. For us hardcore Android modding community, the future is much more concerning than you would've thought.

App #Onavo owned by Facebook, is VPN service that collects your:
- mobile traffic
- location
- installed/opened apps
- visited websites

This app should hide your traffic & increase privacy, instead it collects it.
Visited web sites, launched & installed apps and others are stored in plaintext in database. Not accessible without root.
Based on their Privacy Policy, they have been gathering user's personal data since 2013.
If you ever used #Onavo app, your traffic is stored on Facebook servers probably forever.
They share same terms & conditions for different app versions.
