My @eversendapp experience has been smooth…

I have loaded it on my rooted #Android phone with #LineageOS 16.1, uploaded by identification for KYC and was verified within minutes…

I was so shocked that it had happened so fast, I am feeling the slacker

@eversendapp Why install the app, needed to make a payment to a service provider in Kenya and was stuck without a way to do it from my current location

@eversendapp The next steps were soooo smooth

1. Added a Visa card, which was charged for verification process

2. Loaded funds, converted to KES in 2 clicks…. The exchange rate was very close to what Google and XE gave me (as compared to my bank)

@eversendapp 3. I slowed down to find the contact of the beneficiary, added them in a single step

4. Funds transferred to beneficiary with cheaper charges than #MobileMoney

I was a beta tester but never had the need to get this far

@eversendapp Transaction failed, coz I had added a 0 before the beneficiary number…

Got a notification, had to create a new beneficiary with the correct number (a small bug) and transaction completed & successful

I like being able to log into the app with my phone PIN

The beauty is that the app actually works, and my payment has been made! The exchange rates are great, better than my bank at least!

Being one who writes software for a living, this app is great progress, makes a complex workflow simple!! And it works on my rooted phone

Now feature requests:

1. Ability to confirm the details of the beneficiary before completing the send transaction

2. Sharing my transaction with the recipient, an image/text (from the email notification) of the transaction screen

3. Easy access to beneficiary list
