JUST IN: From a voicemail left with Flynn's lawyer by Trump attorney John Dowd, re: Flynn taking part in a joint-defense agreement w/Trump or striking a deal w/govt:

Dowd then warned Flynn's attorney of a "national security issue, or maybe a national security issue," if he had "information that implicates the president."

On the Nov 22, 2017 message he left, Dowd was seeking to learn from Flynn's lawyer whether Flynn had reached a cooperation deal with prosecutors, or whether he could still take part in a joint-defense agreement with Trump.
