This is why I rejected the phrase "fake news" from day one. If you let disinformation purveyors lead in creating new words or phrases, they will nip and tuck their meanings as they see fit. Disinformation and propaganda were already perfectly serviceable words. This isn't new.
And boy, you should have heard the howls. You could probably still see them in my mentions in 2016. People thought I was being too reactive, too hysterical, too "left wing" for calling something what it was, like the American concentration camps that people are dying daily in.
Excuse me, "immigration detention centers." That are camps in which people of certain perceived status and ethnicity are, erm, um, concentrated. Anyway, perhaps now those who didn't before can now see the methodology behind what I do, and understand a bit better.
