Pro tip: next time Crooked T threatens catastrophic tariffs, buy the dip, then sell when he calls it off a week later (see my previous tweets about this). It's not diplomacy, it's a transparent and predictable price manipulation scam.
You can be certain he'll repeat the same maneuver a few more times this year. It's free money for him and his clan -- why stop.
As a side note -- in the US, the power to set tariffs is held by Congress, not by the president, at least according to the constitution. But who cares about laws and constitutions at this point
