It's so very easy not to mock trans people, and you'd think a show with writers as introspective as "Big Little Lies" would know not to do it. Disappointing.

Noticing a lot of peppering-in of flashbacks similar to "Sharp Objects". Not as frenetic, but it's definitely a feature.

Meryl Streep's character is absolutely perfect at slipping-in these razor sharp barbs into her conversations.

Unpopular opinion, probably: the scream was over-the-top. Streep's character is so much stronger in her subtlety. Not sure it fit very well.
