Here inside a tent on the Southbank where Rory Stewart is launching his leadership campaign
Ken Clarke, Nicholas Soames and Antoinette Sandbach are all in the tent. As is Phillip Lee, who was originally supporting Gyimah.
Stewart takes on no-deal leadership candidates: “The choice is on one hand fairytale and in the other the energy of prudence and realism... They are no to a deal, no to trade, no to Parliament, no to reality...They masquerade as optimism. They’re giving you fairy stories.”
Stewart: “The problem with a lot of these candidates is conviction. It feels like their policies have been developed in a think tank or focus group.”

He says unlike other leadership candidates, when he says he wants a fairer Britain, he “feels it.”
Offt! Stewart goes in studs showing on Johnson, asking Tory members “do you really feel that is the man you want” to look after hospitals, be in charge of the nuclear button and negotiate Brexit
