Anybody in for a bet?

My thesis: Model 3 will have HEAVY rust problems, which do not occur in Avocado country, but will do so in the rest of the world.

substantiation, see thread.
Would love to see critical comment of @ex_Tesla!

Model X and S have an aluminium chassis due to the possible weight reduction, whereas Model 3 has an aluminum/steel body, because this is way cheaper.

Different metals have different electrical potentials, some shown in the picture.
If you take two metals with a different potential together, you are able to measure a voltage (thats basically how a battery works...). You only have to worry about that in measuring technology.
But if you then add an electrolyte, like water due to autoprotolysis or even salty water (we've seen that in finland and norway), there occurs a huge problem:
Galvanic corrosion.
So you need (all 3 points):
-different corrosion potentials, the bigger the electric potential gap the worse
-a conductive connection between the metals, so electrons can flow from metal to metal
- an electrolyte connecting the metals so the positive ions are able to flow as well
If this is the case, you failed as an engineer or the controller was dumb enough, because he thought these screws costing 5 times the price of an usual screw arent necessary. There are special screws and separators avoiding the problem, but theyre expensive.
Usually, you try to avoid these connections. If this isnt possible, you have to isolate the metals from each other. This is possible, but expensive and you really have to watch out as an engineer that there isnt a little production process caused anything with a connection.
So do you really think:
1. Tesla didnt fail in construction at any point and really avoided every critical connection properly (including screws and stuff)?
2. they didnt try to save money by not using sealed screws and sealings for gaps
3. Tesla took every step necessary to prevent bigger ingress of water/salty water?

If you answer one or more points with "yes", please let me remind you gently about #Teslapaintissues
