It's a sad state that our ideological fights have to take place taking away education paths for 18 year olds.

Score one point for Team Left, I guess.
God help me if I'm ever so caught up in politics I celebrate taking out an 18 year old on the other side like a pawn in a chess game.
An 18yo could kill somebody and the left would argue their brains are still developing and they can't be held responsible for that.

Good show. A note for @NevilleD35: You kept saying Phillips won his case. SCOTUS only ruled the CO Civil Rights Division acted with animus towards Phillips. Whether he has to bake the cake or not is still an open question.
@NevilleD35 Also @owillis gives the game away with "you can have your religious beliefs in the privacy of your own home, but once you step into the public square you're going to get railroaded." This country was founded on preventing this from happening.
And it doesn't matter if the cake is for a gay wedding or a Nazi rally. The govt doesn't make distinctions over which speech is good and thus must be forced or not.

Oh God. This is going to get the "fire in a crowded theater" pedantry going again.
(It is true you can't falsely yell fire in a crowded theater and cause a panic and injuries. That this line was used in a terrible SCOTUS ruling doesn't make it false).
It's a vapid point to make, since all it's saying is that there are limits to speech. Which is something we all agree on. But it's not false.

equipment or writing reports.

Allen's home surprises him. Humans might call it Spartan, but compared to 60's quarters it's luxurious. There's a bit of a Japanese aesthetic about it, with a few framed ink drawings on the wall (prints, not originals, 60 finds when he scans them.)
The car ride had been strange. He kept thinking of what Allen said, and tears kept gathering in his eyes. Eventually he managed to stop by focusing on the route they were taking and trying to preconstruct what Allen's house would be like.

This was nothing like what he expected.
