Notably, Martha MacCallum, whom Fox News describes as a "straight news" anchor and wanted to have moderate a Democratic debate on the network, argued at the time that the decision would lead to polygamy.
Here's a video @mmfa made at the time rounding up ten years of Fox News fearmongering about marriage equality. It would lead to people inevitably to everything from polygamy to incest to people marrying turtles.

After getting off the phone with Fox Business' Maria Bartiromo this morning, the president kept watching the network.

Left, Fox Business, 9:23 a.m.
Right, Trump, 10:27 a.m.
Anyway that random person who had tweeted twice before the president mistook her account for that of a U.S. soccer player with a similarly-spelled name probably has interesting mentions right now.

This will inevitably happen to me some day.
That Fox Business segment Trump tweeted about described Rapinoe as "opportunistic," "beneath contempt," "wrong," and "not patriotic." It closed with host Stuart Varney saying the team should "fire her as the co-captain," adding, "I'd love to see that."

This was the NRA's response a few months after I took over @mmfa's guns team, hired @timothywjohnson as a researcher, and refocused our strategy on exposing its vile, extreme online programming. Thanks to the incredible work of Tim and @CydEHargis, NRATV was shut down last night.
@mmfa @timothywjohnson @CydEHargis Here's the timeline showing how @CydEHargis's monitoring NRATV's programming ultimately helped trigger a split between the NRA and its advertising agency, leading to NRATV's demise: mediamatters.org/research/2019/…
@mmfa @timothywjohnson @CydEHargis It's a big gun violence prevention movement, and a lot of activists did a great job getting out the word about how extreme NRATV's programming was. But for that to happen, someone had to watch it. And that job fell to @timothywjohnson, @CydEHargis, and @mmfa.

Because I am inevitably asked every time I speak publicly or translate for others, I figure I'd talk a little about how I learned the Arabic language in this thread
I accepted Islam a month after my 15th birthday. I then attended Sunday school at ICNEF in Jacksonville FL. I started off in the 8yr old Halaqa, learning from this book. I want to sit there, I said pointing to the teen circle "When you can read better than these kids you can."
So in about 6 months I picked up reading and writing the Arabic language. Seeing this, the Imam at that time, Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Shah, started to teach me the basics of Arabic grammar. We went over nouns, pronouns, verbs and verb conjugation, etc.
