I’d didn’t say that. But you need to get out of Chicago. First, start with #JakePickett #1 “Open Season” and proceed. @cjboxauthor is a #YellowstoneDenier but writes a great thriller. I’m sort of an advisor on the hunting/fishing scenes. Anyway, get to book 7 “Free Fire.”
This is where @cjboxauthor takes his deep dive into #YellowstoneDenier land, siding with the caldera skeptics. Still a great read though. By now you are addicted to Box and moving out of Chicago lickety split to Saddlestring. You can read his non-Pickett books too.
“The Highway” remains only other book besides “Helier Skelter” to ever actually disturb me. @cjboxauthor is along with @danielsilvabook, @AlexBerenson and @BradThor the only “regular guest” novelists on my show (like you and @Lileks before I moved to morning drive —late risers.)
