did not change. The regime did not “evolve” and hasn’t since the revolution. The #JCPOA was a desperate Hail Mary pass, a stumbling into the “Nixon Trap” of seeking significance through a history-making deal with an implacable enemy. It was appeasement, just like 1994 NK “deal.”
That @realDonaldTrump fumbled the response to Iran’s shoot down and then it turns out picked up his own loose ball win a cycber counter-strike does nothing but underscore the difference between 44 and 45. I don’t think voters will want appeasement back in 2021.
