I’ve lived long enough to know what I want out of life. My aim is to live & love in imitation of Jesus. Though I daily fail, I’m resolute in the pursuit. It is not that I do not care what you think or what that looks like to you. It’s that I care incomparably more what He thinks.
The moment I can figure out who Jesus doesn’t love & did not give His life for & would’ve refused to be seen with, I’ll do my best to start shunning them immediately. There is no one on earth Jesus should‘ve shunned more than me. Instead, He’s loved me shamelessly for 6 decades.
Do I still call sin sin? Robustly so. In fact, I align with Paul on this whole list of grievous sins. “Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions,->
envy, drunkenness , orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.” Gal.5
