Dear Young Entrepreneur,
_
Benjamin Franklin once spoke of a man and said “He was so learned that he could name a horse in nine languages; so ignorant that he bought a cow to ride on.” _
The goal of education therefore is not mere knowledge but it’s application; wisdom.
One of the most frequent questions I get asked is “should I go for my Masters after school “
My default answer is “No”
Why? Because, a lot of the time we mistake Learning for Education. Wisdom for Knowledge. Msc for Workplace advantaged.
People only want to be educated so as to be employed- don’t be this guy.
True entrepreneurs want to learn so as to solve problems in the organization- be this guy!
So sit back and ask yourself first; what value do I want to provide.
Then, you can attend courses and programs that help develop your strength in your identified area of service.
It’s then you should go for your masters!
Albert Einstein - “One had to cram all this stuff into one’s mind, whether one liked it or not. This coercion had such a deterring effect that, after I had passed the final examination, I found the consideration of any scientific problems distasteful to me for an entire year.”
