Umm, this is the EXACT reason we need the electoral college. Ever heard of something called "the tyranny of the majority"? Try reading the Federalist Papers. Check out Federalist #10. Madison has some incite for ya.
Federalist 10 on nations under DD:

More pandering by the Democrats. This doesn't help Americans... neither workers, employers nor entrepreneurs. This only helps the pandering Left get more votes by selling a lie. It's not the governments place to tell private employers how much they should pay their employees. +
The CBO estimates that up to 3.7 million jobs will be lost, but they are underestimating the real effects... BIGLY.

1. For those that don't lose their jobs MANY more will have their hours reduced.
2. How many entrepreneurs will decide it's too risky now to start a business? +
3. Prices will go UP.

The CBO barely even addresses any of this. Millions will lose jobs, MANY millions more will have their hours cut, and we'll all be paying higher prices.

How many automated kiosks have you seen lately at restaurants? Get ready for A LOT more.

The Department of Health and Human Services is now breaking spending records. They spend over 100 million... EVERY MONTH. Medicare and Medicaid account for about 90% of that spending. It's time to abolish both. There are ways to do it, but no one's talking about it.
.@SecretaryCarson got laughed at during the election when he proposed to do away with both programs, but his idea would have cut HHS spending literally in half, AND every single American would have been given money to spend towards healthcare.
These are the types of ideas our government should be brainstorming. Instead of that, we have people screaming that the gov isn't spending enough money on healthcare even though they'll shell out 1.1 trillion this year.

If this tweet is proven to be BS, and prepared in advance to back up a story by propublica - with their help (given the story in advance) - I won't be surprised but this is a big deal.

I think some of us, maybe many of us, could identify with this imaginary head of a family used in part 1 of this thread series. If your the sole bread winner for your family like me these problems your family face are important.
Imagine the next Presidential campaign season is now underway. It’s March. The person you supported, the donkey candidate, is holding their own against the elephant candidacy. Your person keeps reminding you just how much “progress” has been made with the mid and working classes.
No longer do those families need to rely on the evil healthcare capitalists at the local hospital. College has also been free for your kids which has been great for the family budget now that your tax liabilities are higher. Your CPA is telling you your taxes this year are $10K.

1. "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House" by Michael Wolff. Yes, I hate-read this book in a matter of days. Problematically, Bannon comes across as an articulate, insightful source and not an arch nationalist parasite. Will Wolff's depiction be hagiography in the future?
2. "The Invention of the White Race, Volume 1: Racial Oppression and Social Control" and "The Invention of the White Race, Volume 2: The Origin of Racial Oppression in Anglo-America" by Theodore Allen. Who knew how important Bacon's Rebellion (1676) was to the history of racism?
