1. When I was a hotel manager in the early 80's @SecretService was one of Westin's big corporate clients. Our Agent in Charge here told me I should apply for a job. I considered that an honor but when I thought about it, I knew I had to complete my education before stepping into
2. the big leagues. I created a complex University course of study that included learning Chinese, becoming expert on its politics, economics and history and when I graduated, I was working on my application for the @FBI with hopes to be a counterintelligence officer
3. when I got into law school. Marriage, kids and the passage of time made my counterintelligence career goal unattainable.
