Who benefits most?
Defense contractors.
So I suppose @HillaryClinton accomplished at least one of her major goals.
And now the DNC is owned by Boeing, Raytheon, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, etc.
While you’re focused on that, they’ll use their left hand to continually expand their war-making, at whatever cost.
But he’s pro-war ideologue either, so he’s not interested in blowing money pursuing imperialism.
He’s a pragmatist nationalist, and the most powerful lobbying interests in the world can’t stand for that.
Trump won’t just cave to all of their demands like Obama did. They can’t *control* him, even if they can influence him sometimes.
The military-industrial complex needs someone they can control.
So if the defense industry’s gonna keep itself alive, it’s gonna work through the DNC.
All the anti-Trump hysteria is just astroturfing by the financial interests associated with the defense industry.
The test: will you give us the wars we want… or at least stay out of the way?
They’re all passing that test, except for one:
@TulsiGabbard.
The American people DO NOT SUPPORT THE MILITARY-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX.
If they did, Hillary would be President.
So @TulsiGabbard is gonna stand out among her peers.
That means Tulsi’s gotta go.
A Tulsi-Trump general election would be a NIGHTMARE for the defense industry.
On domestic policy, she aligns with all of the Generally Accepted Opinions (MFA, GND, free college, LGBTQ).
She’s a young, charismatic, attractive, military veteran POC with years of experience as an elected official.
But she’s vocally & explicitly anti-imperialism.
Tulsi’s foreign policy appeals to right-wingers.
Her domestic policies are an inevitability among Democrats (and probably with Trump too).
What sets her apart is her foreign policy.
But that alone won’t win her the nomination.
She needs to prove she isn’t a one-trick pony.
Time for her to broaden her approach.
Emphasize her status as an establishment outsider. Lean into it. Don’t pander. Be sincere. Don’t talk like a politician.
Be a human amongst the NPCs surrounding her on-stage.
Tulsi represents Americans more than anyone else on that stage.
When the establishment goes after her, it’ll endear her to the rest of America. So embrace it. Highlight it. Keep hammering it.
Americans don’t want war with other countries.
But Americans DO want war with the establishment.
1) She won’t fight the wars in other countries
2) She will fight the war in this country
Last night, she proved #1.
Now she needs to prove #2.
