Rebecca!! Rebecca!! The time is almost 9pm and you're still sleeping, so you think everything that's happening to us is normal? You won't pray at home; okay, follow to pray, you're doing like the chief guardian of sleep.

Rebecca yawns and turns to the other side of the bed with her eyes still close.

She drags 9 years old Rebecca out of the bed and drags her to the bathroom to wash her face.

Rebecca cries and tries protesting but her mum wasn't having any of it. Before Rebecca could utter "I don't want to go" finish, her mother's hand was already registered on her cheek.
Rebecca's Mum
What do you want me to tell the pastor? He specifically asked me to bring you to church and you want to me to disobey a man of God? If you don't go and get dressed, I'll sound you!

Rebecca drags herself back into her room to get dressed in tears. After about 5 minutes, she was done dressing and both left the house for church.
After driving for about 1 hour, they arrived at the church and went straight into the pastor's office. Rebecca didn't want to go in with her but when she saw her mum's palm approaching her red cheeks, she immediately took the first step into the office.
Pastor
Rebecca, my fine daughter. Why are you looking so dull?

Don't mind her jare. She's just being naughty.

Rebecca stood up immediately to follow her mum but her mom's eyes drove her back into the seat.
The pastor carried her on his lap and spoke to her in a very quiet tone. As he continued talking, his alarm went off signaling time for the vigil.

Rebecca hurriedly left the office and went in search of her mother. After about an hour into the service, Rebecca fell asleep and as her mum was about hitting her to wake up, the pastor ordered her from his chair in front of the congregation to take her to his office to sleep
Rebecca's Mum carried her immediately to his office and left her there alone.
After the service, the pastor went back into his office and saw Rebecca's lying down on the cushion with her laps revealed. He quickly locks his office and forces himself on Rebecca.

Rebecca didn't at first know what was going on because her eyes were still sleepy. But immediately he went inside of her, she let out a loud cry and the receptionist heard. She tried opening the door but it was already locked from inside and she sharply went to look for help.
The door was forced upon and the pastor was caught trying to clean the blood was all over her skirt. Nobody understood what they were seeing at first until Rebecca in the pool of her tears yelled.
"He raped me"

The whole place went quiet. Everybody staring at the next person while some pretending not to have heard what just came out of her mouth. Rebecca's Mum already heard what was going on and immediately, she ran to the office to carry her daughter to the hospital.
It took the doctors hours before they could successfully stop the bleeding. Some elders in the church followed her to the hospital and after Rebecca was treated, they started persuading her not to report the case to the police.
Another male church member who saw that Rebecca's Mum was already compromising and thinking about not reporting to the police immediately yelled at her to call the police and report the matter.
She was still not responding as she kept listening to the elders who were saying it was the devil's work. The church member immediately went to the doctor and reported the case himself and in the next few minutes, after collecting enough information, the pastor was arrested.
Rebecca protested that it was her mom's fault and refused forgiving her. She was taken away from her mother and transferred temporarily to her aunt when the court declared her to be irresponsible.
