This is how resentment and hatred is fomented in FN communities and in FN children. There will be lifelong repercussions in the level of trust of any mainstream Canadian.
Will the Premier @jkenney or the Minister of Indigenous Relations @Richard4Alberta comment?

This will ripple throughout the indigenous community. Confirmation that Canada hates them & their children. So much that they’ll allow an organization to punish FN youth who worked hard to train and compete for the crime of being born FN.
No wonder why some FN seek to undermine Reconciliation efforts and prefer secession from Canada altogether.
In the province harbouring ardent secessionist leanings of its own, one might think this is engineered to create and fan the flames of distrust to further their agenda.

Tournament organizers have hired referees independent of Calgary referee organization and the 50 or so kids can play in the tournament.
But the sting of rejection and racism is long lasting.
