Mere days after Sandy Hook, @NRA CEO Wayne LaPierre took a $70,000 vacation to the Bahamas via private jet, paid for by the "non-profit," which, by the way, enjoys tax-exempt status.

This was in between public appearances where LaPierre aggressively promoted putting guns in schools, a policy that's now proliferating in @GOP-led states under the Trump administration.

The @NRA is a vile organization, perpetrating a scam on its members to juice sales for gun manufacturers and profit off of death & misery. Its longtime ad agency, Ackerman McQueen, is no better. Their mutually assured destruction can't come soon enough.
