After day 1 of @PalestineExpo, a day of speakers talking about the similarities between Zionists and Nazis it's worth remembering just who fought for, met with and allied with the Nazis. Here's rare footage of Palestinian leader Haj Amin al Husseini with Hitler
Here's Anwar Sadat explaining why the Arabs supported Nazi Germany during the war. As Abba Eban explains "it has a certain kind of logic" though you have to have a certain kind of morality to support it.
In the wake of the war the Arab position on the survivors of the Holocaust being able to make their way out of the death camps to join their people in Palestine was clear; "Every Jew that arrives in Palestine is one more brick in the structure of the proposed Zionist state"
Let's take a look at the situation of the people who were then being callously ignored and are now referred to by people like Prof Joseph Massad and @pappe54 colonists
Israel is a state with a populace consisting of people who were persecuted and arbitrarily attacked by the peoples and governments of their birth countries. BDS et al say it was racist for Israel to allow them to become citizens they would rather see them persecuted
So enjoy your @PalestineExpo guys, we'll never back down, we'll never give up, we'll never budge until you realise a democratic Palestinian state in the West Bank is the only future that makes sense for all of us. Until then we'll fight.
