Secret cables to London from UK ambassador in Washington describe Trump as 'inept' and 'incompetent' washex.am/2NDBHdj
Sir Kim Darroch, one of the U.K.'s most senior diplomats, referred to the president with several unflattering adjectives, including "inept" and "incompetent," according to cable published by the Daily Mail.
Darroch, a former British ambassador to the European Union who was his country's national security adviser before being sent to Washington, has been in post since January 2016.
He was expected to leave Washington and retire at the end of this year - though that may now be brought forward.

After he was elected president, Trump made clear he would like to see Brexit leader Nigel Farage take Darroch's place.

He said that the school offered an assembly and courses on the Holocaust, but that they were optional and could not be “forced upon” all students.

So, here’s the Democrats’ plan: Flood America’s southern border with millions of illegal aliens, hook them on government aid and eventually turn them into voters. It can’t be more obvious anymore.
Use the courts to strike down any attempts to secure the border. Have judges rule against election integrity laws like voter ID or even the commonsense question about citizenship in the 2020 national census.

Seeking clarification on what this actually means. @WhiteHouse not discussing on the record whether @KimDarroch is just a virtual 'persona non grata' in eyes of @POTUS or whether there'll be diplomatic ramifications. Queries being directed to @StateDept on that.
US and UK established diplomatic relations in 1785, broke relations when Washington declared war in 1812; relations were reestablished in 1815.
