It is false that the Venezuelan gov's CLAP food program only benefits Chavistas. 100% a lie

I also went to CLAP distributions in working-class barrios in Venezuela in February. There were groups of opposition supporters there getting food with no problems
UN "human rights" @MBachelet's claim Venezuelan opposition supporters don't get food is a dangerous lie.

The community organizes itself to give CLAP boxes to those who need it, including opposition supporters.

@AaronJMate was there with me and can attest to this undeniable fact
This is a ridiculous lie spread by Venezuela's right-wing opposition

It is especially dangerous because the Trump admin is trying to impose sanctions on the CLAP food program to starve Venezuelan civilians into submission

@MBachelet is helping this crime
Over 70% of Venezuelans receive basically free food boxes through Venezuela's CLAP program. Including opposition supporters

The gov provides the food but doesn't distribute it (it's impractical given the size of the country)

Volunteers in local neighborhoods distribute the food
The only serious critique I personally saw is, at the neighborhood distribution site, the gov and opposition supporters didn't talk with each other much. But that is not CLAP's fault; it is a reflection of the extreme polarization due to the relentless war on Venezuelan society.
At @GrayzoneProject, @AnyaParampil published this piece explaining with the UN report on Venezuela is absurdly flawed.

Ex-rapporteur @AlfreddeZayas notes it relies mostly "on unverified allegations by opposition politicians and advocates of regime change" thegrayzone.com/2019/07/06/wea…
