I spent about 30% of my waking hours preoccupied with thinking about the ethical challenges around climate change, and that's no joke.

Pretty sure I'm not alone in that.
Most of my stress on the ethics of climate change basically comes down to this: how do we balance our own survival as individuals against our moral obligation to ensure the survival of others, including folks we don't know?
I mean, yes, in theory, many of us have the resources to relocate to some part of the world that will be least affected by climate change in the longterm, but most human beings lack those resources. What do we do about that?
Also: shouldn't I be training myself to be useful in emergency management--things like medical expertise, survival skills, community organizing, etc.--instead of, I don't know, anything else?

These are tough questions, and I don't see much clarity out there.
