This R Kelly indictment backs up all the stuff that, as @JimDeRogatis writes in his book, that made his reporting "unpublishable" -- esp The allegations about RK knowingly passing on STDs --post-Gawker no legal team was willing to vet THAT. But the truth is here now.
There was so much that Jim had for years, DECADES, that is just coming to light here in the indictment. I think bc of this story, and Epstein, Moonves, Weinstein reporting folks have a bit of a sense of how hard it is to report these stories and get them published in full.
