“Martyr?” This is glorifying a domestic terror act by a member of Antifa. Violence is not a protected form of speech. Holy cow.
Here are the Tweets, for those blocked. He actually calls this terrorist’s manifesto “beautiful.”
Unbelievable.
But hey law-abiding gun owners are called “domestic terrorists, “the enemy,” and my favorite from Rep. Rice — “national security threats.” None of these same people have condemned this actual domestic terrorist attack btw, instead people like this are celebrating it.

Within the past few days, Trump has made Omar, Cortez, and the socialist Dems the face of the party as Pelosi battled them for control. This is how voters will see Rs and Ds going forward.
If GOP start demanding that Dems go on record supporting or opposing Omar’s BDS bill, it’s going to polarize voters against the party even more. It puts the party’s refusal to condemn her earlier anti-Semitic remarks front and center once again.
That AND if Dems continue pushing impeachment, which polls poorly in coveted swing districts, they won’t need Republicans to run against, they'll defeat themselves in 2020. Not often they’re seen behind the eight ball like this in terms of strategy.

1. I just saw the footage that’s being spread around from a protest in Portland on Saturday that people are claiming shows antifa directing traffic and yelling a drivers who won’t comply.
2. I spent 5 minutes Googling and reading news articles to find out that the protesters seem to have been part of a protest following a fatal police shooting on 9/30/18 in which some claim the man was unarmed. Police say he was armed.

So... some years ago on MPC, I posted that I would not worry about a hot civil war in the USA until billionaires and political factions start tooling up with paramilitaries to pursue their interests and agendas.

To elaborate on this a little: the way civil wars usually start is when the interests of elite power factions diverge sharply at the same time their power relationships are destabilizing or threatened.
In the modern era, we tend to think of civil wars as being popular movements in a revolutionary mode. But that is a historic aberration.
