It's utterly outrageous the crowd at that Trump rally chanted "Send Her Back" about Ilhan Omar. This has to be stopped before they do something even more offensive, like accuse her of being an agent of a hostile foreign power that helped her steal her election!
I mean, what if some conservative political operation fabricates a report full of wild unsubstantiated stories about Omar doing nefarious things, Fox News starts pushing it, and federal agencies are suddenly spying on her?
And what if the crowds at those Trump rallies stop mocking Omar and start insulting her supporters as a basket of deplorables? What if they start saying everyone who supports her anti-Semitic positions is no different than a Nazi?
What if Trump supporters start staging phony hate crimes all over the place to impugn and marginalize Omar and her supporters as haters who have no place in American society?
My God, if this "Send Her Back" stuff at the Trump rallies isn't stopped, it could lead to actual violence - gangs of masked thugs beating people in the streets, tossing firebombs, stuff like that!
In the darkest scenario, you might have a Trump supporter drunk on "Send Her Back" rhetoric show up at a gathering of Democrat politicians and try to shoot them all because he thinks they're all accomplices to Ilhan Omar's evils.
We have to nip this outrageous rhetoric in the bud before it becomes a full-blown challenge to the legitimacy of Ilhan Omar's election. We all know Democrats would NEVER try to nullify an election that way. Republicans must live up to their noble example! /end
