Well that's one BIG strike against Parler.

They will allow people to impersonate others and they won't moderate their site.

Some hoaxer is over there pretending to be Wictor.

Any interest I had in checking that place out dropped significantly.

And I see people already descending into the comments in this thread to try to make the case that IMPERSONATING someone, why, that's just part of free speech, once you don't allow people to IMPERSONATE others, you don't have free speech anymore.

What utter bullshit.
Deception in fooling people into thinking your words are really coming from someone else they view as a trusted source of information is A Very Bad Thing and any site that allows impersonation will end up with a lot of it.

A lot of people have asked me about guns. I mostly don't talk politics online, and mostly won't now. But I do like talking about systems, and there's something unfolding here that almost everybody is missing. Thread: (and at the end, there's a link to a potential solution.)
The conversation — from news orgs to Congress to living rooms — seems like a debate. Each side has their arguments and stats. They lob them back and forth, trying to change minds. But on net, the stats and logic almost never actually get results. ~Nobody ever changes their mind.
You can't persuade someone against their will. The underlying concept of "You have deeply held opinion x, I have deeply held opinion y. I will now show that you're wrong." simply doesn’t work in real life. What evidence does exist on it, suggests that it backfires.

All different races of Mankind are derived from Manu and Shradha. The current Manu is Vaivasvata Manu.
2/ The word Manu literary means man but it is a title given to the progenitor of mankind. According to Hindu Puranas there are many kalpas (One day of Lord Brahma the creator) and each Kalpa has 14 manvantara and each manvatara has one manu. So basically each Kalpa has 14 Manus.
3/ The current manu of the present manvantara is Shraddhadeva or Vaivasvata Manu of this current Kalpa. He is the son of Vivasvat (Probably Surya) and is therefore also known as Manu-vaivasvata.
