He was 16?? Can we not fire people as adults for the things they say when they’re 16 please? The tweets were terrible. Indefensible. But he was a kid. And this is a mature, grown-up statement.
We’re defined by our worst moments now, even as children. No one can grow. No one can mature. No one can change. And grace is weakness.
That’s the world we live in (for now), but thank God that’s not ultimate reality. Thank God I’m not even defined by my best moments (which, really, ain’t that great). Thank God I’m defined ultimately by Christ.
