1/Mini-thread about Ratcliffe and loyalty to Trump. What Trump is looking for now is not just loyalty to him, but loyalty to the defining narrative of his Presidency - that he isn't a traitor, that his Presidency is legitimate. That Russia's attack was a few Facebook ads.
2/Suppressing the significance of the Russian intervention on his behalf, and the implication that it gave him the White House has been the central job of his Presidency. It is all a grand coverup, one #MoscowMitch, Barr and now Ratcliffe have signed on to. It's a form of QAnon.
3/So it is not enough to be loyal to Trump; you now have to be loyal to this false narrative that Russia's intervention was inconsequential. In this thread I go into depth about why this is false and why it is clear Putin made Trump President.
