Nothing makes me worried that Marianne Williamson is going to become a serious contender like people going "Calm down, there's no way she's going to be a serious contender."
We really have to learn the lesson that things change. We're not sounding the alarm because we think she's in the lead, we're doing it so people who are falling in love with her don't put her in the lead and then later go "If she was bad, why didn't anyone say so?"
We've really got to ditch the idea of "political impossibilities", whether's it's climate action, universal healthcare, the right's atrocious laundry list of priorities (that they are achieving, because they didn't care that it was impossible when they started!), or a candidate.
And to be clear, this is not about praise for her pushing the envelope on reparations. I trust the Black electorate as a whole to be cautious and nuanced in their political judgment.
But I seriously see an upswing of people (mostly white men) going around going "Calm down, I'm sure she can't be as bad as you think. You must be misunderstanding. You're taking things out of context."

One full on said we can't take her literally.

Can't take her literally.
Even if she doesn't win, even if she never makes it to the top... I don't want her ideology having an impact. And I'm not going to trust that she won't make the top just because she's not there now.
