Don't execute me for asking, but a little bird tells me these men shot in Kwekwe about a week ago and described as armed robbers... there's in fact a link with Douglas Tapfuma, arrested yesterday over the customs duty scam (1/2)
Story goes ZACC and some JOC people wanted to grab him at his farm; he armed makorokozas, with this the result. About cars, CID VTS were moving around car sales in Harare asking about history of cars.
"Where did this car come from?"
"President's Office," came the answer (2/3)
CID guys went to several car sales and in the end they had found about 15 vehicles on display, whose origin was "President's Office". Further checks revealed about 85 such cars that had been brought in duty free, and were being sold or had been sold (3/3)

Fifth Brigade consisted of 3 battalions of just over 1,000 men each. Emile Munemo commanded 24th Infantry Battalion stationed at Rushinga in Mt Darwin, which later deployed to Zvishavane from where it operated in the Midlands. By 1983 battalions were in Lupane, Tsholotsho, Nkayi
Munemo was promoted to Fifth Brigade commander in 1982, with Perrance Shiri the overall commander. Munemo was in charge of admin and logistics, Shiri training and operations. Munemo became overall commander of the Fifth Brigade in 1983

Prophets arrived this afternoon to expectant crowds. They quickly identified a house where they alleged lived a tikoloshe. House owner, a Gumbo, seen here during the madness was asked if he owned such a creature. Said he used to, but called some prophets to remove it, surprised
So the prophets began their theatrical show. Crowds swelled. But as they prepared to storm the house and bring out the 'small boy', it somehow sprang free and attacked a child next door. Child taken to hospital unconscious. Bad start. 1-0 to the tikoloshe

2. Far-Right terrorist Thomas Mair murders Labour MP Jo Cox in broad daylight, shouting "Britain First". Aaron Banks of the Brexit campaign ignores moratorium on campaigning after murder, to exploit the opportunity.

Wow. Just had my first #SARS experience and my biggest mistake was allowing myself get so comfortable in this town.

I didn’t even realize it was SARS until I left.
So i left my power bank at an office I’m freelancing close to my house. Receptionist dropped it with the bartender of a place next door. I’m supposed to be traveling early but I got back late so I had to head there pretty late to get it.
Went with my cousin. No light and phones were dead and I like their shrimp springroll so we sat down to use style and charge.

Got my power bank, tried to order Uber, no car available, Taxify was surging 2500 for a ride I paid 500🙄

Cousin said let’s just go take Keke N50

#Fact 1 - The Wage Gap is real. People who says it's not haven't read the data.

However, in places like the USA, the wage gap is *not* mostly due to sexism like many #femnist #WomenInScience are claiming it is today. Disparate outcomes doesn't imply disparate treatment.
Women typically choose fields that are lower paying; even in the #STEM fields. To attribute that to sexism only or even mostly is a very dishonest way of deriving an answer for this complex disparity.
