This was my most popular tweet, by far. 216K views in less than 6 days. 
It got about 60K views organically in the first 2 days, via likes and retweets. Then I submitted it to @newsycombinator and it spent most of the day on the front page: news.ycombinator.com/item?id=205455…
At the same time I also posted it on reddit in /r/aws, but I got completely roasted there: reddit.com/r/aws/comments…. The post got downvoted to 0, and all my comments got heavily downvoted! It's very clear that I don't know what I'm talking about according to the /r/aws crowd. 😁
The fact that this was a tweet thread generated a ton of tweet impressions. When it was on the HN front page, it generated my first 1M+ day.
It also brought 800 new followers. 👋🙏
I had another popular tweet this month, which resulted in the earlier step up of ~600 new followers:
That one spread all organically though, mostly via likes (very few retweets).
