Josh also claims that 8chan was approached by an NSA front, Red Hat, which asked to install a keylogger into 8chan's code that "would store every single post made by every single user on a database run by Red Hat for the use of law enforcement agencies." medium.com/@josh8chan/why…
The deal was that 8chan would install this keylogger program in exchange for legitimization and removal from Google's blacklist. He also claims 4chan had been using it since 2010. medium.com/@josh8chan/why…
Josh says he refused to install the keylogger and left 8chan because of it. But it sure sounds like the program was implemented, meaning 8chan has been providing every single user's post law enforcement/intelligence agencies for ~4 years.
