1/ That Trump wants to reward the El Paso terrorist by using his depravity to push 4 the wall (in order to agree to gun legislation) is disgusting but not shocking...this is how right wingers think: they think u should give white nationalists what they want bc they want it too..

2/ A good example of this is the wretched book on white nationalism written by reactionary "scholar" Carol Swain several years ago. Swain's book was revered by the white nat community, even though she's black, because it was so favorable to them...She interviewed the leaders...

3/ ...Gave them a platform to express their views (in an academic press book), challenged almost NONE of those views, about immigration, welfare, crime or affirmative action (bc Swain shares those views), and then concluded...wait for it...

4/ That the way 2 end the threat posed by these groups (potential violence, which Swain seemed worried about), was to end aff action, support racial profiling & crack down on crime, crack down on undocumented migration & slash social programs...i.e., give them what they want...

5/ Oh and get the nation back to Jesus, because that always solves the problem...seriously: give the Nazis most of their political platform & rally around Christianity and maybe the terrorist faction will go away...It was putrid, but is a forerunner to Trump's "solution" now..
