The return of the #dynasty recap thread: Offseason Edition
Before we dive in, let me say sorry for the delay on this. I had originally planned to get one out right after the draft while it was fresh, but life happens. From my oldest child starting baseball to accepting an offer on our home and preparing to move. Chaos ensued.
For those new to the thread(s), this is just a quick hitting team-by-team breakdown of current/recent events. Consider it a bunch of blurbs to help with valuation, trends, and all sorts of other stuff. The goal is to inform without drowning you in words on one topic.
With that being said, I'm already drowning you with words so we're off to a good start.

Each team will get one full tweet filled with what I believe is important info, even if it isn't entirely based around the "best" assets, through a dynasty lens. Let's get started...
ARI
- Kyler Murray is obviously the big addition here, but he is being priced close to his ceiling. Proceed w/ caution...
- DJ is still being slightly overlooked as an elite bellcow... high end buy
- WR is messy, avoiding non-Kirk options
ATL
- Matt Ryan is back to being underpriced after a big time season
- Freeman is somehow still a buy as his price hasn't corrected
- We're due for Julio regression at some point, so if not contending it's wise to sell a year early
- Hooper a great value TE
BAL
- The LJax hate remains criminal, buying that upside all day
- Backfield is an unknown, like Ingram short term but prefer Justice in dynasty
- WRs also a mystery, Hollywood has the draft capital but Boykin brings a lot at minimal cost
- All aboard the Andrews train
BUF
- Josh Allen's ceiling seriously outweighs his risk of being actually bad at current price, buying
- Avoiding the backfield except for Singletary, who I'm still on the fence about
- WRs are... interesting, but Smokey, Zay, and Foster are all buys (for me at least)
CAR
- Cam sliding because of injury concern, but that upside couldn't be higher with his weapons
- Obligatory CMC reference
- DJ Moore or Curtis Samuel? We can have both, folks. Bright futures ahead
- Holding Ian Thomas while Olsen decides on his TV future
CHI
- Trubisky still reasonably priced but we need to see real strides made before vaulting him (or bailing entirely)
- Backfield timeshare, but Montgomery and Cohen will be lucrative nonetheless
- ARob WR30, Miller WR50, and Burton TE16 are all palatable buy prices
CIN
- Dalton still one of the better value QBs, especially in SF/2QB
- IF Mixon stays healthy, he's in the elite tier by midseason
- Buying Gio before he's dealt
- AJG a great discounted buy for contenders, but hold until he returns if not
- Boyd price getting uncomfortable
CLE
- I want Baker, but price has reached Mahomes levels
- Holding Chubb/Hunt for now, scared of timeshare
- Duke is a nice buy/hold if the price is right
- OBJ and Landry will coexist, and they will thrive
- Njoku will be that splashy redzone threat, but volume is a worry
DAL
- Dak contract on the horizon, undervalued for consistent QB1 production
- Buying Zeke amidst the contract panic, stashing Pollard/Weber
- Hoping for Cooper extension, but just fine buying Gallup for pennies on the dollar
- TE is a dead zone, pass
DEN
- Not really interested in Flacco or Lock here
- Somehow the backfield is even messier, BUT production will be there... Hold Lindsay, buying Freeman, stashing Riddick
- WRs are meh overall, fading unless price is right
- Love Fant's upside, but worried about overall volume
DET
- Stafford is nice as a QB2/3, but I wouldn't be leaning on him for much more
- Kerryon price exploding, selling
- Golladay hype has slowed (thankfully) and Marvin remains a nice contender buy
- Hockenson won't leave the field, but we've seen DET ruin TEs before
GB
- Rodgers getting the washed up treatment, nice buy
- Still very leery of Aaron Jones and how that backfield will shake out
- Adams elite (obvi), but Rodgers can support 3 WRs. I'm targeting MVS and Allison equally
- Stashing Sternberger, scrapping Graham
HOU
- Assuming health, Watson will push Mahomes for QB1
- It's Miller time!! But seriously, free points even if/when they add another back
- Stashing Higdon/Crockett
- Nuk WR1, fight me
- Buy Fuller/Coutee, especially in best ball
- TE feels like a committee, again
IND
- Not worried about Luck calf injury, buy if owners are overreacting
- Receptions > carries, Hines > Mack (relative to price), Foreman/Wilkins non-factors
- Buying all the Hilton yet again, and grabbing Parris wherever possible
- Ebron vs Doyle could be a slow painful death
JAX
- Foles a nice QB streaming option
- Fully avoiding the backfield at my own peril, however Armstead has some nice upside
- Buying Dede and Chark, stashing Conley because I'm a fish
- Stashing Oliver, hoping they learn how to use a TE
KC
- Mahomes value absurd, tough to buy or sell
- Believe Damien will be the guy, mostly because Hyde is buns and Darwin meh
- Avoiding Hill at his rising price, taking Watkins/Hardman instead
- Stashing Robinson, Pringle in deep leagues
- Selling Kelce for almost any RB1 or WR1
LAC
- Rivers a perfect contender QB
- Buying Melvin, prefer Jackson to Ekeler if MG sits/gets traded
- Keenan still undervalued, buy
- Like Mike Williams in best ball, but fading otherwise
- Hunter Henry sliding under the radar a bit, sneaky buy
LAR
- Goff a nice QB1 value right now
- Still a Gurley buy window, Henderson hype bigly overblown
- Digging all three WRs again, even stashing Reynolds
- Is an Everett breakout too much to ask for? Fine, I'll keep wasting that roster spot anyway
MIA
- Buying Rosen cheap in SF on any rebuild
- Question marks around Drake keep price down, fading Ballage, stashing Walton
- One of these WRs has to be relevant, right? I'll take Stills, but Parker is intriguing for the 14th year in a row
- Buying up Gesicki for cheap
MIN
- Cousins is a mediocre QB, but a nice fantasy asset. Don't confuse one for the other, great buy
- On the Cook bandwagon, but Mattison is going to push for touches
- Love Diggs and Thielen at current price, fading the rest
- Rudolph a nice cheap TE, Irv is a beast (buy now)
NE
- Brady is a robot, and a great QB for a contender
- Messy backfield has me fading, they’ll have EVERYONE involved
- Edelman has crazy short term upside for the price right now
- Gordon a WR2/3 if reinstated
- Harry a buy due to negative camp talk
NO
- Drew Brees: see Brady, Rivers
- Kamara MIGHT be RB1, LatMurray nice zeroRB option
- MT gets big contract, still a little worried about production post Brees
- Tre’Quan pretty cheap considering Brees WR2
- Cook big time upside, especially at price
NYG
- Gettleman managed to get two versions of current Eli on one team
- Saquon is going to get run into the earth’s crust
- Shepard and Tate are really nice values, buying both
- Engram will either be TE1 by year end, or play 4 games due to injury
NYJ
- Darnold still pretty cheap, should see improvement in yr2 with improved OL/weapons
- Bell still an undervalued bellcow (similar to DJ), stashing McGuire
- WR is messy, mostly best ball options imo
- Herndon nice buy w/ suspension news
OAK
- Carr isn’t good, but he has poor man’s Cousins upside
- Jacobs in line for potential bellcow role, not worried about Martin/Richard
- AB due for WR1 season, but a little skeptical of future
- Tyrell sneaky buy, especially in best ball
- Waller low risk-high reward TE
PHI
- Wentz hype becoming a bit much for me, fading at current price
- Sanders and Howard are polar opposites, so committee should flourish
- Big fan of Alshon at WR41 and DJax at WR66
- Going after JJAW where I can
- Ertz and Goedert can coexist, but expect a little cannibalism
PIT
- Ben something something Brady, Brees, Rivers
- Conner big time upside, expect Samuels to be very relevant too
- Juju still overpriced to me, but I’m expecting regression
- Moncrief is a great buy. Wait, what? Call the police, I’m in danger
- Vance is a great non top tier TE
SF
- Jimmy G doesn’t get talked about at all considering the upside
- Committee backfield, but I like “the big 3” at current ADP
- Pettis and Deebo are both overvalued, but someone has to catch passes, right?
- Kittle is the only TE I can justify taking where everyone wants Kelce
SEA
- Russ Wilson is the king of efficiency, always a nice buy
- Carson/Penny backfield should get more interesting this year, but likely worse for fantasy
- Love Lockett as a WR3, buying all the Metcalf
- Fading TE here, even though there’s a good chance one produces
TB
- Jameis value resurgence has me fading with unclear future
- Complete unknown backfield, but I’m putting my eggs in the RoJo basket
- One of Evans/Godwin will disappoint, I’m just not sure which
- It’s very possible OJH is a great football player and mediocre fantasy asset
TEN
- This is make or break for Mariota, I’m still buying
- Henry is in for a big season, price is going to be silly in a few months
- Davis and AJB success relies on MM, because Tannehill isn’t it
- Delanie is nice for some short term production, but Jonnu is promising
WAS
- Have some long term faith in Haskins, but Keenum is a nice short term option
- Time for Guice to put up or shut up, has to fend off AP, Thompson, and future Love
- Surprisingly I find myself buying up McLaurin, Harmon, and Quinn
- Reed TE1 upside for next to nothing, buying
Per usual, this will be pinned on my profile until the next thread drops. Looking like we'll be back for week 1, and will have weekly editions just like last season. I also plan on stopping by with the @DynoBlueprint gents occasionally to recap the recap. Thanks for reading!
