My mother was the happiest person on earth the day I graduated and started my first job as an office receptionist, six months later I was gang raped by my boss and his brother instead of the marriage proposal which I was promised earlier #MeToo
I was held hostage for two months and my mother was told I have stolen money from the firm and was last seen leaving the office with a man, An FIR was lodged against me and my mother went crazy looking for me. A fake FIR was registered against my brother and he was locked up
My mother was continuously harassed by the police, my rapist were rich, powerful and politically connected. When I finally escaped from my prison and reached the police station, I was told to get a medical for Rape
I was left at the mercy of police surgeon and after a shameful medical, I was told I am not Raped, no one helped me, no one believed me, my brother was locked up, my mother had given her all savings to police as bribe
Now my rapist are free and I am a crazy person who is shattered and defeated #MeToo
I regret being silent for so long, I had no plans to come forward after two years but after reading everyone’s messages I have decided to name my rapist. Zeeshan Sabir and Imran Sabir from Lahore. I pray to Allah that no girl has to face what I did. Please pray for my mother.
