Prisons across America are so understaffed that they are dangerous. I know this from covering prisons for four years. thehill.com/homenews/45704…
Maybe, if anything good will come out of this suicide, it’s that the public and powers to be realize how corrupt and inhumane America’s prisons are — and do something.
I covered more prison suicides and murders than I care to remember. One was a 25-year old kid who was gassed to death because he was only complaining that he was sick, and he was. He had a terrible genetic blood disorder. But the guards kept gassing him with spray until he died.
