I’m a fan of @Daroff, too. But quoting only men and referring to William as the King of Twitter and Malcolm as King of the Jews, without even acknowledging gender as one of the primary issues for @Conf_of_Pres to navigate is not okay. @OmriNahmias m.jpost.com/Diaspora/Who-i…
Just as a reminder, when Michael Steinhardt sexually harassed me he continuously referred to himself as the King of Israel. Kings are not the model of leadership we should be aspiring towards. They are often known for abusing power and abusing women.
There are plenty of qualified women to comment on world events and Jewish leadership. @OmriNahmias, if you had asked us you would have learned that gender dynamics are a top issue that @Conf_of_Pres must deal with under @Daroff. And I’m eager to be a partner to him in that work.

On my way to my 1st ever @Conf_of_Pres meeting, which is focused on Anti-Semitism. COP brings together leaders of major Jewish orgs as a way to leverage impact in the US & Israel. What messages do you want me to share w/ this group? What issues do you wish we were addressing?
11/13 morning speakers are men, including all “experts”. I know plenty of experts on antisemitism who are women and will plan to share that with COP.
In the meantime, would love to see the men from the experts panel commit to only speaking on future panels that include women. @IrwinCotler @JGreenblattADL @DavidHarrisAJC, what do you say?

Do you not realise that 1000s of people have already booked their travel? That 1000s of grassroots groups have worked hard to be able to attend on the date you advertised for months? How can you just change that date without even acknowledging that? 1/
What a complete own goal at a time the country has never been at greater risk. And the disregard for grassroots shown...I have no words. The explanation I’ve seen below is also poor. Did you not register the march? How can you advertise a day months ahead and then change it? 2/2
PS1/2: I see there’s a thread with more detail than in replies. It really is unbelievable though. This is the sort of thing one checks *before* announcing a date. And even if it only becomes apparent later on: why change if police raise no concerns?
