Video: Someone tell Chris Cuomo that Chris Matthews needs to be thrown down some stairs for saying the Italian-American version of the n-word because, on April 9, Matthews told @JoaquinCastroTX that @DonaldJTrumpJr is the "Fredo-like son" of the First Family

Here's ANOTHER one, telling @JackieSpeier on March 12 that, referring this time to Jared Kushner -> "Congresswoman, I don't know what to say here, except anybody who has seen 'The Godfather' is seeing Fredo here being manipulated by the guy out West."

REWIND -> On December 12, 2018, Matthews went after @PRyan as "being...Fredo" for not sufficiently standing up to and condemning Trump enough as Speaker of the House

On November 9, Matthews said this about Trump firing Jeff Sessions and hiring Matt Whitaker after the midterms: "Just like in The Godfather, he waited for mom to die before he killed Fredo."

Two days earlier on November 7, 2018, Matthews wondered the same thing: "Your mom is dead and I can kill Fredo." To his credit, NYMag's Gabriel Debenedetti was caught off guard and brushed Matthews off: "Something like that."

On October 26, 2018, Matthews told now-@SenJackyRosen this about @DeanHeller: "My friends and I are always using Godfather language, because there’s always a line in The Godfather. And one of them is about Fredo. He’s weak. He’s my brother, but he’s weak. Is Heller weak?"

Then, on September 11, 2018, Matthews went after @DeanHeller with, according to Cuomo, the equivalent of the n-word: "Why is he weak? He seems like Fredo in The Godfather. He seems weak."

Two more in this one-year search - On August 24, Matthews played a clip of Michael Corleone speaking to #Fredo in a bit about Trump praising Manafort for not flipping: "Fredo, you’re my older brother and I love you, but don’t ever take sides with anyone against the family again."

And for the last instance of Chris Matthews using #Fredo in the past year, he chimed in by wondering if Trump's concerned about all "these Fredo characters in his family" on August 17 amidst the liberal media infatuation with @Omarosa and her tapes (h/t: Nexis for the search)
