It wasn't just any group of protesters, either. It was #JewsAgainstICE, just a couple days after anniversary of Heather Heyer's murder much the same way in #Charlottesville by a neo-Nazi #UniteTheRight attendee.

Police then pepper sprayed them

This is also happening with "Remain in Mexico." They're getting approved for asylum, but not being allowed out of detention or into the United States.

1. This will not be a full exegesis of the passage, but I'd like to address one particular interpretation & understanding of this passage. I'm going to avoid using language that reflects certainty, disapproval, or judgment in order to leave room for gracious disagreement.
2. It's important to note that the specific audience here is husbands & wives. And while the husband is called the "head of the wife," he is not called the leader or authority of the wife. The Greek word for head here is kephale (κεφαλῇ), which means the physical head.

I can’t get over the fact Trump spent the anniversary of Heather Heyer’s murder celebrating with Nazis and tweeting about reverse racism.

Is the press really going to let it slide that there’s a Nazi sympathizer in the Oval Office? Are we?
The White House knew this was the anniversary of her murder and of the lowest point of his presidency.

They held a photo op with white supremacist bikers and sent out a dog whistle about reverse racism.

They doubled down – and the press let him get away with it. Again.
Think about what any sane administration would do to recognize this occasion. They’d host civil rights leaders, invite Heather’s family, have speakers of different faiths.

These people hosted a guy with an SS tattoo.
