Am I the only designer who's noticed that @Succession_HBO neatly summarizes the five basic types of horrible client? A quick & depressing thread 1/
Kendall Roy: earnest but powerless. Kendall (played by Jeremy Strong) says he's in charge, but ultimately reveals that someone you've never met has to review the work — don't worry, it's just a courtesy! As usual, he's failed to 2nd guess his boss & you're back to square one 2/
Roman Roy: fun but inept. Roman (Kieran Culkin) is creative! Up for anything! "Dazzle me with your ideas!" But he has the attention span of a fruitfly, changes his mind every few minutes, & always forgets to tell you he cancelled the project three weeks ago 3/
Connor Roy: idealistic but clueless. No money-grubbing plans for Connor (Alan Ruck, from my hometown of Parma, Ohio). Instead, big, dreamy, world-changing ideas that he will reduce to a logo upon which he can expend all his energy micromanaging to death 4/
Siobhan "Shiv" Roy: competent but ruthless. Compared to the others, Shiv (Sarah Snook) gets things done. Sharp, driven, willing to throw anyone under the bus to get things done. Unfortunately, you will be inevitably thrown there as well. Sorry! 5/
Finally, Logan Roy: powerful but evil. Working for the guy at the top (played by Brian Cox) is the best, isn't it? As long as you don't think too much about what he had to do to get to the top, and what you're willing to do to help keep him there 6/fin
You wouldn’t believe how true to life that “We hear / here for you” thing was, so help me God @Succession_HBO
