You’re right, and I, of course, agree. But our reasonable requests for transparency and clarity will not be fulfilled.

The ambiguity that we can’t stand *is* the policy.
When I was on your show a few months ago, I argued that, at this point, we should support speech codes. That is, Youtube should literally tell us what words we can and cannot use. We might not like it, but we could come up with creative ways of expressing ourselves.
But Youtube won’t issue speech codes, because it prefers to keep everyone guessing and grant itself the right to arbitrarily (and from our standpoint, haphazardly) ban videos and creators. It’s insanely frustrating.
