If you follow an ideology which tells you that only your “god” is true, your “prophet” is the last word or anyone not believing in the doctrines or god (or god-son) you believe in is going to hell, or anyone not on your path is inferior, please don’t call anyone else a “bigot.”🙏
Quite the opposite. Monotheism consistently produces violence. Co-existence happens because, luckily, some people don’t take their Holy Books at their word. Coexistence comes from their humanity *despite* their Holy Book. They’re better than their god.
I don’t want to insult their belief that their god wrote their Holy Book. But based on its effects I’d question what kind of god wrote it.
