I agree. Choices now should be deal, no deal or revoke. Extension would lead us to same place in 6 months, and I don’t buy the argument that rolling the dice with a GE will somehow create environment for a deal. Leave has had 3 years to arrange the promised orderly exit. Enough.
Labour’s calls for a general election are about getting into power, not Brexit, and they should be seen for what they are. I don’t blame Labour, fair that they want to be elected, but there is no reason to believe GE would lead to a Brexit solution. So deal, no deal or revoke
I would prefer a Second Referendum to no deal or deal but I don’t think it’s necessary really - the impetus was on the Leave proponents to achieve a deal which could pass through Parliament. 3 years is ample time to conclude it hasn’t worked and revoke.
